Malayalam (ml) "Laudantes iucunde" എന്നായിരുന്നു അവർ പറയാൻ നോക്കിയത്. അമേരിക്കൻ രീതിയിൽ ലാറ്റിൻ ഭാഷയിൽ പാടുന്നതുകൊണ്ട് ഞാൻ കേട്ടത് "loud and tense, you can [tʰɛ]" എന്നാണ്.
American English (en-US) What they meant to say was "laudantes iucunde." Because they're singing in Latin the American way, what I heard was "loud and tense, you can [tʰɛ]."

/ˈkovɒtʃ/

(fr) J'ai vu une émission qui a expliqué que le mot "coach" vient de la ville hongroise Kocs, mais ils ont prononcé le nom /ˈkoʊ̯ks/. Quelle bêtise, la prononciation correcte est plus proche de l'anglais que leur fausse prononciation.

(en-us) I saw a show explaining how the word "coach" comes from the Hungarian city Kocs, but they pronounced the name /ˈkoʊ̯ks/. Silly people, the correct pronunciation is even closer to the English than your fake one.

Malayalam (ml) അപ്പോൾ ഒത്തിരിപേർ അത് ഇംഗ്ലീഷിൽ Kovacs എന്നതുപോലെ എഴുതുന്നുണ്ടെന്നാണെങ്കിലും, Kovacs എന്നല്ലല്ലോ, Kovács എന്നല്ലേ ശരിയ്ക്കും എഴുതേണ്ടിയത്?
American English (en-US) So although a lot of people write it as Kovacs, it isn't really "Kovacs" but rather "Kovács," right?

(en) Yes, Kovács is the right way of writing it.

But then if you're not native Hungarian then I don't see why that little 'stick' would be a must.

 (hu) Igen, Kovácsnak kellene írni.

De ha nem anyanyelvű magyar az illető akkor szerintem azok a 'vonalkák' nem olyan fontosak.
