I've browsed through some old English textbook someone dumped in a charity bin. Not useful at all, save for one little snippet in question tags description.

New words
A-laysa kaðalik أليس كذلك isn't it so?

I think I'm going to steal your idea of posting the new words that I learn.

I'm not sure if you're going for a dialectal pronunciation in that transcription (I assume not), but I would transcribe it as A-laysa kaðālik.

Actually the first one is "production date" and the second one is "expiration date".
