Consider myself unshocked :D ... That's much closer to what I was thinking originally :D

But in fairness for my limited vocabulary:
La revedere = arrivederci = au revoir = hasta la vista
Mă cheamă = mi chiama = je m'appelle = me llamo

So, looks like I just need to learn more! Quelle horreur ! :P

O mică observație, noi suntem mult mai înclinați să punem pronumele pe primul loc.
Deci "Tu de unde ești?", "Tu ce ai?", "Tu ce vorbești?" sună un pic mai natural.
Sau mai general vorbind, în cazul ăsta nu prea cred că am folosi pronumele deloc.

//One little observation, we are more inclined to put the pronoun in the first place.
//So "Tu de unde ești?", "Tu ce ai?", "Tu ce vorbești?" sound a bit more natural.
//Or more generally speaking, in this case I don't really think we would use the pronouns at all.

Dar și felul în care ai scris-o tu este total corect.

//But the way you wrote them is also totally correct.

Mulțumesc !

I was using this probably outdated manual:
http://teachlikeapcv.files.wordpress.co ... book-1.pdf

I figured that the pronouns, like Spanish, can and should be left out, as I'm not really emphasizing anything. But, still struggling on the third person pronouns, so thought I would include all of them for a while.

Nu, m-am uitat un pic peste ea, și pare în ordine.

//No, I looked over that book a bit and it doesn't look outdated at all.

Ai dreptate, este bine dacă folosești pronumele la început, te ajută să memorezi mai bine.

//You're right, it's good to use the pronouns at the beginning,
//they help you memorise things better.

So, what I'm reading is that the future can be created with a Time phrase and the present tense. This makes much more sense than it should. In English you would say : tomorrow I have coffee. Ok that sentence is dull but my vocab is limited. In romanian, it might be : Mîine sunt cafea. Ex today you so not but tomorrow you do.

But afaik that doesn't work at all in English, does it? Wouldn't you need to still use the future "tense" even with a time phrase?

I believe I've even heard before "the mostestest awesomest". This perhaps is the ultimate superlative!

I am having fun :). My epiphany was how you don't have to learn any future tense to tal about the future, like on va aller , or on verra. Just saying, astăzi sunt englez, mîine sunt român. Is so much easier. Not that the verb to go plus infinitive is hard, but as a learner who doesn't know all the rules yet, it gives me some flexibility early on.

!!!!! This was from the same resource as cîine, but I thank you :) . Now I know not to trust that lololollol :rotfl:

Edit- words!

Eu citesc o carte.

I think rather than learn a word I will try to learn a pair of nouns, a single conjugation of a verb and noun, a full conjugation of a verb in the present tense, or a grammar rule each day. Learning just one noun seems too little each day, because if I learn a verb I almost have to learn a noun to go with it,, I.e. I can't fly a daughter, or read a dog. While there are rate circumstances that those could be true (read a dog, as in, his body language), most verbs I will likely need to learn a new word regardless. Also, the rules for the indefinite article are so much more simple than the definite article, so I will use it quite a bit for now. The idea of ~365x2 = over ~ 730 words and many ways to use them by next year is exciting!
