Hello!
I hope I'm not asking for too much...
Can someone, please, help me translate this to Japanese:

Look at you, hacker. A pathetic creature of meat and bone, panting and sweating as you run through my corridors. How can you challenge a perfect, immortal machine?

(It's all about I want to try a Japanese voice-over of this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?gl=JP&hl=ja&v=5iZMD_eCpEo )

I've been trying to translate it on my own but it turns out messy and with no proper style whatsoever.
Thanks in advance! And if you need my version, just ask. I just feel uncomfortable posting it as it is now :?

見ろよ、ハッカー!俺様の廊下でふうふう言いやがりながら汗をかいてる肉と骨からなるくだらない生物よ!
貴様なんか完全的で不朽の機械に挑戦するわけがない!

I am sure 80 % it's wrong, but I tried.

I'd translate it as such

おい、何だ、ハッカーの君!オレ様の廊下を汗が吹き出ながら息を切らして走り回っているくだらない骨と肉からなる獣め! どうやって君なんか完璧な不滅の機械のオレを背くのかい。

不朽:いつまでも朽ちないこと。長く価値を保って後世に残ること。
不滅:滅びないこと。永久になくならないこと。

Even though it's a machine, I think 不滅 is better because the machine is given human characters.

To pant is either 喘ぐ or 息を切らす.

ふうふういう is like big gasps. It could work for sure, but I think it's more so what I chose.

Momonga, you left out "running through". I used a form of the verb to run that entails running about to make it more fitting to calling "you" an animal.
The particle de wouldn't be used here also. Your translation was pretty good.

Wouldn't おまえ be better than 君 in this context? (otherwise good translation!)

何分か後に means "some minutes later". There are similar constructions such as 何人か (some people) or 何年か (some years).

It's hard to translate/interpret these lyrics because of various issues, but I'll try.

雨になって何分か後に行く
I'll go some minutes after it starts raining

今泣いて何分か後に行く
I'm crying now, I'll go in a few minutes

今泣いて何分か後の自分
I'm crying now, it's me a few minutes on

今泣いて何分か後に行く
I'm crying now, I'll go in a few minutes

今泣いて何分か後に言う
I'm crying now, I'll say it in a few minutes

今泣いて何年か後の自分
I'm crying now, it's me a few years on

#2 どこへ行こう どこへ行こう ここに居ようとして?
Where do I go? where do I go? how about I stay here?

行けるよ 行けるよ 遠くへ行こうとして
I can go, I can go, I'll go far away

The ようとする form at the end of those last two lines gives the sense of giving something a try.

Thank you so much! :D

About the "何_か後に" expression, is "後" always pronounced "ご"?

Is the following a good translation to English?

もし明日都合がよければ「映画」に行きませんか。
If it is convenient (for you), would you be good with going to a movie tomorrow?

I would translate it as "If you're available tomorrow, want to go to a movie?"

Ok, thanks. Since I'm creating a course for Japanese Sign Language, I am trying to include all the concepts of the sentence in JSL. Translating some of the sentences is a bit hard, so I will probably post here more. I am learning Japanese, although I am still a total beginner, so translating isn't super easy.

I don't understand why the 「映画」 is in quotation marks though. Was the source text written by a native?

Yeah, I don't know why either. Yes, it was. Here's where I got that quote from.

Hmm, 用件 would kind of depend upon the context:
"Okay/I understand, please write down your telephone number and 用件"

用件 means "business" in the sense of "I have business to attend to" or "what's your business here?". Here they are probably asking the addressee to write down their reason for being there, but it's hard to say without knowing the context.

Unfortunately there really isn't any context. The context is "urgent matters", so maybe you're right. The page the sentence is at is here. Maybe that can help.

Thanks. :)

Hi, all! I've been playing an old Playstation game called LSD (more here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/LSD_%28video_game%29) and it's... something else :P A few of the "dreams" are just a page of Japanese writing, though. I realize this is a lot, but if someone could translate even one of these, it would satisfy my curiosity!

下着店

坂の下のビデオショップの前に下着店がある。段ボールに山積みされた下着たちは、「綿のパンツ五枚で五百円」店の横にまわると、段ボールにはドーベルマンのように大きな猫が入って売られている。

Underwear Store

There's an underwear store in front of the video shop at the foot of the hill. Underwear is piled up in cardboard boxes; "5 cotton underpants for 500 Yen". In a cardboard box to the side of the store, there's a cat the size of a Doberman for sale.

自分の席に着くと、小さな亀がいる。所々、甲羅が割れており、どこかに落ちたかみたいだ。私は、入れ物を探してそこへ亀を入れて飼うことにした。でもこの先ずっとこの亀を飼い続けられるかが心配だ。

Turtle

When I got to my seat, there was a small turtle there. Judging by the cracks in its shell, it had fallen down somewhere. I found a container and put the turtle in it, deciding I would keep it. I'm uncertain that I'll be able to keep it forever though.

猫を預かる

預かっていた猫が三階の部屋に帰っていった。すると、何者かが猫を透明にしてしまった。少し残った身体が、薄い半月のように残って見えるだけだ。

Look After the Cat

The cat I was looking after was returning to its third floor room. At that moment, someone made the cat transparent. The small part of its body that remains visible looks like a faint half moon.

九階

マンションの九階。和室だった部屋には、昔近所に住んでいたおばさんがいる。彼女は半ば狂っている。いろいろ悪いことをしゃべっている。質問をしても、何も聞こえていないようだ。

The Ninth Floor

The ninth floor of the apartment. In the room that was a tatami room, there's a lady who used to live in the neighborhood. She's half crazy. She's saying a bunch of wicked things. Even if you ask her something, she apparently can't hear you.
