There shouldn't be any を here indeed... but 許されざる呪い is the official translation for "unforgivable curses" (Crucio, Avadakedavra, Imperio).

It could just be some mistake in font rendering (it looks like scanned book, and then turned into letters).

anyway,

hmm, is this thread still alive? I wonder if someone could help me with a few lines...

恋には走りませんでした
愛を知りませんので
非行には走りませんでした
案じで欲しい者は傍に居りませんので
ですので私は

I feel like i'm missing a lot of context to make sense out of this... but that's all there is to the text =/ Any help would be much apreciated.

"I didn't chase after passion
Because I don't know what love is
I didn't chase after misdeeds
Because the people I wanted to see worrying (about me) weren't here by my side
So I... "

This is really not a good translation, sorry. 恋 and 愛 could both be translated by "love" in English although they don't mean exactly the same thing in Japanese. I asked a Japanese friend once and he couldn't explain the difference very clearly either.

I tend to see the former more as affection/love while the later more as a deep romantic love.

There are several important and different applications of 愛 and 恋.

愛: 価値あるものを大切にしたいと思う人間本来の温かい心、慕う心、神仏の慈しみ、アガペー、愛着などのことを表す言葉です。

恋: 特定の異性を強く慕って切なくなるほど好きになるその気持ちを表す言葉です。

I hope this will give better insight.

異性だけではなく、同性の恋もこの定義に当てはまると思う。

ノッポ is a tall person. It comes from the Korean 높어.

Did you find some reliable sources for that theory? I have also found a few entries in online boards that state that (nobody elaborates on how a Korean word would simply be taken over into Japanese), but others rather say ノッポ is 伸っぽ ("Stretcho").

No, there are several Korean loanwords. Most Japanese people don't know Korean. But, there has been a long history of loan words coming in from 対馬. I am positive it is Korean. It is a perfect match. Besides, Japanese wouldn't want to say it came from Korean anyways even if they knew.

Lol

Fruitbatさん、自己紹介させていただきます。

私はSethです。どうぞよろしくお願いします。友達になりましょう。私はかなり評判のいいサイトを所有し、支援と援助の必要としています。

最後に、のっぽは古語じゃないです。韓国語からですw。
