Adesso puoi veramente dire che è quasi inverno.

Solo per essere sicuri, "you can tell that" significa "si vede che". Anche "puoi dire che" ha questo significato?

The story she told was nothing but a pack of lies.

Letteralmente "far imparare" sarebbe to make it learn, to teach è "insegnare".

I due treni si sono scontrati frontalmente.

I hate people who discredit one's political analysis by saying "it's actually more complicated than that" and then do not even bother to say in what way exactly it is more complicated than that.

I find it wholesome to be alone the greater part of the time. To be in company, even with the best, is soon wearisome and dissipating. I love to be alone. I never found the companion that was so companionable as solitude (Henry David Thoreau, Walden, Solitude).

- la propria significa their own.

Ma "non devi andarci" può significare anche "you must not go there" o "you shouldn't go there", invece di "you don't have to go there", non è vero?

"Non devi andarci" significa "you must not go there"/"you shouldn't go there" oppure anche "you don't have to go there". In italiano "to must" e "to have to" si traducono con "dovere".

Non so come tradurre la parola "just" in questo contesto. Potrebbe essere "solamente", ma penso che ugualmente si puo omettere totalmente nella traduzzione. Quindi;
