Čo robia Slováci častejšie? Používajú prepozíciu 'pre' alebo používajú 3. pád?
Gløgt er gestsins eyga. (Føroyskt orðafelli)
Wise is the stranger's eye. (Faroese saying)
L'occhio dell'ospite è acuto. (Proverbio faroico)
Hosťovo oko je múdre. (Faerské uslovie)

I hope I can write in Slovak cos your slovak looks very good:)))
No väčšinou musíš použť oboje.
Napríklad:
"Tento list je pre Petru." Základný tvar mena je Petra. Ale povedal si že pre Petru. Bez toho "pre" to zvyčajne nejde. Ale skoloňovanie tretieho pádu je tam tiež. Keď odstrániš "pre" musíš zmeniť celý slovosled.
Napríklad:
"Tento list daj Petre".
A čo používajú častejšie?

Dobre rano :-)

I was told that the difference between pre and za is one of exchange. When something is za something, it is in exchange. i.e

Za
D'akujem za pomoc = I give you thanks in exchange for help,
and,
Dam vam pomozu za peniaze = I give you help in exchange for money.

Pre
To je pre teba = This is for you,
and,
Kupil som jedlo pre vas varit' veceru = I bought food for you to cook dinner
