URGENT translation

Postby paulinal » 2012-06-26, 15:44

Hello,

Could you please have a look at your food products at home and help translate the phrase:
"Best before: see bottom (of the pack)" into Lithuanian??

Many thanks,
Paulina

I don't have anything Lithuanian here at the moment, but I think you would find something like: Galioja iki: žiūrėti ant dugno.

Geriausia/geriausias iki: Žiūrėti ant dugno/butelio/etc. “Galioja iki“ is less common now.

Hi,

Thank you for your comments.

I have found this on one product online:
Geriausias iki: žr. apačioje

Would you say it's correct in Lithuanian?

Thanks!
P

apačioj(e) just means "below" or "down there", unless you want to stress "bottom" it should be fine.

„Apačia“ - lower part, foot. This includes bottom as well.
